These scissors work great on my doodle’s hair. They are extremely sharp and appear to be very well made.

Purchased these thinning shears to complete my grooming kit for my two Cavies. They were fairly easy to use once you got the hang of them. Warning! In between uses be sure to place the scissors down on the surface completely closed as they are incredibly sharp.

I am returning these because I cut myself twice very deeply on the extremely sharp end of the scissors. I would prefer some that didn’t have a V that comes too close to my hand as I’m holding the fur out.

These blades are extremely sharp. Make sure you are careful using them. It was definitely a great buy.

Very pleased with this product. I have a fluffy Australian Shepherd and this easily and safely trims her fur in a beautiful way. I am not a professional groomer. Just looking to keep her butt area trimmed in between visiting the dog groomer. I feel comfortable trimming randomly and it looks good. Feels safe to wield and safe to cut her fur without fear of cutting her. When I opened the leather case it felt luxurious and top notch. I recommend.

These are the absolute sharpest set of thinning shears I've ever had! I have a border collie and use them on her tail and neck to finish off a lion cut. I thought my last pair was bomb diggity, but these put those to shame. They're quite longer than my last pair, but holy crap be careful handling them! Produced the perfect outcome of the intended use! I'm going to check out other products by this manufacturer.

I am one of the people who decided to "do it myself" and try give my little terrier mix a haircut. She has a Maltese face and a soft, non-shedding coat. Fortunately she's very patient and forgiving of her beginner mom. After using a cordless electric clipper, I realized a thinning shears was really needed to even out my errors. These worked like a charm on her face, head and chin. But, be careful; they are very sharp - easy to cut yourself on them. Good luck to all you other brave newbies! And kudos to all the pros!

Very sharp.... sliced two of my fingers on the tip of the straight edge. Be careful using them.

As with most grooming supplies, you get what you pay for. I am a professional groomer and purchased these just to try out. When I first tried them I noticed that only the tip of the shears would cut. I had them professionally aligned to see if that would help. It didn’t, I also had them sharpened and it didn’t really improve.I would not recommend these to other groomers.
