Echo Studio - Smart speaker with high-fidelity audio, Dolby Atmos and Alexa (Black)

The media could not be loaded. I was looking to buy a true surround sound bar (samsung q950a) but wasnt so sure about covering my room in wires- and having a subwoofer eat up floor space. So i went ahead with the studio, since im hooked on the amazon ecosystem anyway. My take on it:PROS1) Bass - there is lots on tap, and it has that low bass too. But it depends a lot on placement. Compared to echo - gen 3 to 5, this has the low bass that they lack.2) Portability - some reviewers say it isnt really portable. I dont know what they mean by that. Does it fit in your pocket? No. Can you carry it easily to another room and plus and play music there? Yes. If you have hands that is.3) Spatial Audio - after the new update it does work. Sounds better than two echos places as far as 5 feet apart. More than that the echoes have better channel seperation (stereo paired echos)4) Groups and Pairing and Multi Room Audio - This is a winner. You can pair it with your echos, echo dots and create multi room groups. The group in the video is as immersive as it gets. For music, this paired with the right companions can beat any soundbar for immersiveness. Also, i paired the echoes before creating a group with this. So they retained their left right pairing!!! How cool is that? This was almost acting like a centre channel plus sub woofer while i could feel the sound traveling left right between the two echos on the sides.5) smart - not just as a smart speakers, it goes beyond that. Example - if you pair these in a group and also connect this via bluetooth to the TV, if you play music on the group, as soon as the music stops, this will automatically re-pair with the TV. I dont remeber this happening with my echos or echo dots.CONS1) instrument clarity - While it is better than the echos and previous gen studio, most premium soundbars and speakers will still give you better clarity, albeit not by too much.2) bass isnt super consistant.3) i feel the atmos part is a gimmic and only accessible through the fire sticks/cubes in India. Plus to have atleast two upfiring speakers, you would need two echo studios paired as a hometheatre and running over the fire stick.4) Speaker out of the box sounds super dabba (very box sound, no character) you will have to play it for 4-5 hours and let the speakers burn in. And it keeps getting better from there.Update after 6 months.Using a pair as a home theatre paired with a fire stick.Sounds amazing, brilliant for songs and movies. Much better than many premium soundbar systems. Downside is that the atmos effects arw literally zero. Almost no detectabke spatial effects

Ignore all the negative reviews.This is no doubt a great sounding speaker, get it if your budget allows you will not regret..These speaker reach their full potential when playing via wifi, more clear notes and more dynamic sound stage, also DOLBY ATMOS..TIPS:1. Connect it with alexa app on your phone and change the preferred music search from amazon music to spotify.2. Give these sepeaker little time to burn in for maybe 40-50 Hrs3. Pair it with Amazon Fire stick 4K Max and setup home theatre experience for your room.4. Pair Another Echo Studio and you will reach god level of home filling sound..Alert!1.This speaker will need your alexa app for every new bluetooth device connection.2.Equalizer settings can only be applied when playing through Alexa App over internet.3.It will take around 15-20 Seconds after every reboot to start the speaker.……………..I bought this speaker in USA maybe the units sold here in India are not at par with the quality of USA

This also helps to absorb vibrations/thumps occurred during the play, due to its awesome bass and further help the unit to stick firm to the surface.✅Performance→ This speaker create studio-quality sound with space, clarity, and depth. It features a powerful 5.25-inch woofer facing downwards with 330W of peak power. This speaker has a 1-inch tweeter placed at front and three 2-inch midrange speakers placed left, right and upwards that deliver dynamic midranges and crisp, high frequencies. Make sure the device must not be muted for auto-sense and adaptation.However, It's advisable to have 6" space wherever you place the speakers for optimum calibration.Amazon Music app, surprisingly, seemed to struggle to connect and beam songs to the Echo Studio during first use. It was giving error something like unable to play song/Echo Studio got disconnected. Suddenly, it connected and started working fine.✅Extra features →Now I can use my Philips Hue bulbs that I got bundled with echo studio on discount during preorder, as studio has built-in smart home hub to control Zigbee-compatible devices. This also can be used as an intercom, if placed, you can talk to any room in the house with Drop-In and Announcements. It has an advanced audio distribution profile (A2DP) support for audio streaming from your mobile device to Echo or from Echo to your Bluetooth speaker. Speaker has 7 mic to support far-field voice control. I tried from different room almost 12/15 feet in distance, picked up the voice controls easily.🏆Verdict→ I own Dali and had listened to Devialet gold Phantom, known as king of all Bluetooth speakers, though its unfair to compare with 4500w speakers but still if I have to compare it with studio I will definitely find it bang for the buck as Studio support 3d acoustic, has multiple connectivity options and on the top of that it is a hassle-free smart IOT speakers, quite futuristic!I will buy another Studio speaker to complete the set to enjoy the true digital experience.I will update the review after 4~5 months of use, for now, I would definitely recommend the purchase♥️ , and would say the speakers are far superior to any other option available in this category.

The best buy ever in buying speakers. Pricing a bit on higher side but sound quality superb. Music lovers go for it.
