This is my initial revew for the prowithlin 12ft、15ft Golf Ball Retriever and I will continue updating it as I use it.This is a good quality Golf Ball Retriever, I've been using it for more than a month now, it's been working very good, it's very versatile with very long telescopic neck that can reach very far and also can go inside very tight places, unlike my older ones they were very fragile and the closure was very poor and the ball used to fall, but this one is very strong and engulfs the golf ball. it's very compact and strong, and very budget friendly, and I've already been using it all the time, and I highly recommend it.if you like my review please click on the helpful button below.

Comprehensive review update to previous quick review.Manufacturer sent me a replacement 6 foot long Prowithlin Golf Ball Retriever with included Grabber tool for a more comprehensive product review. Here are my findings.Some of the issues I experienced still exist due to its simplistic Automatic Locking scoop design which relies on the scoop maintaining approximately a 0 - 12 degree angle relative to the shaft and the design relies on gravity and the weight of a captured ball for this. Rotate the scoop sideways and the direction of gravity changes and the scoop can easily rotate beyond the angle mentioned and you may lose the captured ball, possibly to a less desirable location where retrieval may be more difficult. So, this closer you are to the ball below you, about greater than 30 degrees, ground to shaft angle, capture increasingly requires some finesse and maybe a few tries; these angle issues were found to be an issue when trying to capture a ball deep in shrubs or in rocks. Successful water rescue will be dependent on the bottom topography and especially angles. So if ball is too far out, you may not have sufficient angle to unblock the basket with the finger and to close may be too much angle for the finger to close the basket. However, this is where the Grabber (ball picker) tool comes in which I was unaware of in my initial review. Although pictured on Amazon, it is included and sold unattached with no instructions to screw it into the end of the grip, after removing the protective cover screw cover. As for the telescoping feature. I did find it easier to use than locking twist rings used on other brand-named ball retrievers with what I found to have a better ball capture mechanism but without the very useful Grabber. This product telescoping feature is a simple push pull action. I found no issues with this feature though not sure how time and dirt will affect its useful life as it depends on friction between two metals. Twist lock mechanisms you can generally take apart and clean when needed.All and all, I have increased my rating to 4 stars, with the only star lost because of the angle limitations of the catcher mechanism with simply a fixed plastic finger to hold the ball in the basket. The best part is the addition of the Grabber, but lack of instructions on installing is a simple product improvement for the manufacturer so I over looked that in my rating.After this review, I can honestly recommend this product with the Grabber installed. I did not review the longer length version but will assume will perform as the shorter length version performed.

Long extension and easy retrieval. Cup holds the ball firmly and easy to maneuver.

This was a Christmas gift for our 12 year old granddaughter. We live on a golf course and Grandpa takes our granddaughter out on the course to search for golf balls. Gives them something to do together. I ordered a long handle and she can reach across the small creek. It is holding up beautifully considering it is now 6 months old and in great shape. Thanks to the seller for a good and durable product.

No more bending over or wading into murky water to retrieve lost balls. The telescoping handle extends to the perfect length, making it easy to reach even the most challenging spots. The grip is comfortable, and the ball-catching mechanism is incredibly effective. It's lightweight, compact, and fits easily in my golf bag. If you're tired of losing balls, this retriever is an absolute must-have in your golf bag!Highly recommend!

This ball retriever works OK grabbing balls but when extended, it a little flimsy. I finally bought another product. Ed

First off, I want to say this ball retriever arrived in very nice packaging, I am already impressed. After opening it I was only more impressed. The quality of this product is immediately apparent with a high quality plastic scoop and a comfortable rubber grip. The grip is ergonomic so it fits completely in my hand. I got the 15 foot model and let me say it is long! The body of the retriever is very high quality, opening and closing super smoothly. Even extended to its full length it is very stable with very little sway. I tried it out this past weekend and it is very easy to use, the accuracy of the scoop under the water at length is remarkable. I was pulling balls out in only seconds, I even found a few nice Pro V1s! Honestly one of the best purchases I've made for my golf bag in years. I'm just disappointed I didn't do it sooner
