Q: Could I mount this on the front of a cajon and use it as a bass drum pedal?

i bet you could! it's fairly vibration sensitive, so if you assign a kick to the trigger input, i bet even tapping the cajon would trigger the sound. might have to turn your trigger sensitivity up on the drum brain, but i think pretty much anything from Alesis, Yamaha, Roland, KAT, etc would work (maybe not ddrum). it would probably work whether you used hand or an actual pedal to strike the cajon. place where vibration potential is greatest (close to strike area). they're not super sensitive, so light fingertips might not trigger it, but any reasonable thump should be fine.

Q: does it work with regular standard drum heads?

Yes. It’s just a tiny microphone inside a sticky helmet. Works better for midi triggering than raw audio recording.

Q: Does this work well on Remo Silent stroke drum heads?

no idea. but anything it is attached to will trigger it. the more vibration, the more responsive it is. but it also has a trigger threshold, so it needs a minimum amount of vibration to trigger, so subtle stuff is mostly not going to happen. it's ok for a certain range of distinct hit on the surface it is attached to. sensitivity on your brain will help as well. you get what you pay for in terms of sensitivity, but it does it's job for most applications from drum heads to plastic cymbals.jsut don't expect subtlety in your playing.

Q: Does the trigger come with the cables to connect directly to the module?

No it does not. You just use a quarter inch cable to connect to a module
