CarharttWomen's Rugged Flex 6" Comp Toe Work Boot Construction

I am a women who works construction, I am on my feet 10 hours a day, in and out of trenches and on uneven terrain. I have the worst time breaking in boots, so much so that my last pair had literally started falling apart because I hate new boots, lol. I took a big risk ordering a pair online. Thanking "hey, there Carhartt's" a name I trust. I am so pleased with these boots, there was not a "breaking in" period, they fit great from day one, they're very comfortable, I haven't even bought new insoles for them which I always have to do. I brag to all my co workers so much so that 2 of them (men I might add) have bought their own pair and have not had a breaking in period either. I don't know how Carhartt did it, but I'll never buy any other boots. Thank you Carhartt for saving my feet from 1-3 weeks of painful blisters.

So I really didn't want to order my steel toe boots online bc I knew the risks of them not fitting. So I read reviews. Both here and other venues online. This boot got rave reviews from all fronts. First, and most importantly: they are true to size. I wear a women's US size 6.5 so that's the size I ordered. They fit like a glove! Snug, but not biting. Next and going along with the fit, there is NO BREAK IN PERIOD!! I work 12 hour shifts on concrete floors in a warehouse. I experienced ZERO pain in my feet and ankles the first AND second nights with these on. I wore them every night for the last several nights for 12 hours and still feel absolutely no pain whatsoever. I'm blown away and my coworkers are in disbelief. When I was promoted to a position that required these boots they all warned me about the break in period and how heavy work boots are. After making sure the composite toe was cleared by my company, I was shocked by how much these boots Didn't weigh! They're about the same weight as any of my winter boots, definitely not as heavy as a traditional steel toe. And just as safe, according to my company's safety committee. I would highly recommend these boots to anyone looking for a work boot. And they're absolutely gorgeous too, and every female I work with came up and complimented them. I got the darker brown option (if that's still available). Quality you'd expect from Carhartt and the comfort you need from a work boot!

I have to be really impressed before I take the time to write a review and that’s definitely the case with these boots. I work for the Department of Transportation as an equipment operator and am tough on work boots. I was dreading, but prepared for a couple of weeks of breaking them in, but they have been comfortable and fit true to size since day one. No blisters, no rubbing and have stood up to climbing in and out of equipment, walking miles each day and other daily activities of my job. I highly recommend these and plan on ordering the same ones whenever these wear out. Nice job Carhartt!

I love this boots are the most comfortable and light weight that I never had before. I use this for framing, perfect for using every day you don’t feel your feet’s hot or sweaty . The shipping was super fast, I ordered 7.5 because my regular size shoes using socks is 7.5 but they were to big, I contacted the seller by email and immediately they respond sending me instructions and code to print or just to show the bar code at the Ups store, they exchanged the boots for me but I love the way they work I even haven’t send the items back when they already send me 6.5 boots to fix my problem. I love the seller + love the product. Original boots!! Worth the money .

After wearing this pair of work boots to work ONE day, right out of the box, for one eight hour shift, just from kneeling as I did my work, I work in a warehouse, the material rubbed off, and you can see the steal on the toe of both boots! One day! Also, even though the are the right size, the shoes rubbed the back of my ankles when I walked, and by the end of the day I had extremely painful, bloody blisters on the back of both of my ankles! inferior quality. Very dissappointed :(

I am a safety professional in commercial construction. Currently I am on a very large project (over $1 billion) and do a lot of walking. These boots helped up well with over 10k steps each day. I liked them so much I bought again. Picture shows about 1.5 years later with heavy use next to my new ones. Had to buy inserts about 9 months in, but again, I do a lot of walking so that is to be expected. Nice to find stylish women’s composite toed boots.

BEST work boots I’ve ever had.PLUS: super comfortable, hardly any break in, sturdy in most weather conditionsMINUS: soles came unglued after 100 wearings. C’mon Carhartt - dare to make this little gem of a shoe reach perfection — give it durability!! I’m Not buying another pair until you fix the glue problem. I’d wouldn’t mind re-gluing this pair after five yrs (of once-a-week wear), but these were only 2 yrs old. I feel cheated out of what had been a wonderful relationship.

This is my second pair of these, after wearing out the first one I ordered the same pair off of amazon. Right away the lining came loose in one of the boots, and has been bothering me since. They definitely have not held up as well as my first pair and I am fairly disappointed in them. Finding sturdy women’s work boots is hard and having a good brand lose quality sucks.I don’t think I will purchase these again.

I have a hard time trying to find a comfortable boot right off the bat that doesn't take days to break in! These boots did take a few days to break in but initially when I put them on for the first time they were still pretty comfy compared to most work boots.The only downside to these boots is it is a 6in boot rather than a 8in boot that I prefer.. which seems to be impossible to find in a woman's style since most men's boots do not come in a small enough size.

Love my boots! Took me a while to break them in but they’re very comfy now. Fit as expected. Laces are thin but are durable. I’d buy these again
