An absolutely wonderful electric frypan!
The photo is accurate. This is a wonderful frypan!! It cooks evenly edge to edge, has a great, beautiful glass top with a metal edge and a vent, its thermostat-controlled temperature is uniform edge to edge, and its nonstick surface is sturdy. We have used it almost daily for months; the nonstick surface still looks brand new with neither stains nor chips, and boy does it work! Egg-battered, floured, panko-fried chicken comes out perfect every time; just after it’s out of the pan, a squirt of liquid detergent and a fill of water and the pan rinses clean later with swipes of a paper towel by this writer. Buy this now. Only joy, no regrets!!

Efficiency and size
Very nice electric skillet cook pan). I’ve used this electric pan three times since purchase. I call it a cook pan because it does a lot more than what most think of an electric skillet. I cook full meals ( combined meat, veggies) in this pan. All delicious so far. Nice as it saves on the heat ( living in Fl) emitted from stove top cooking or oven during warm season and uses such a less amount of energy . . This is a perfect size when cooking for 3 to 4 people . I’m pleased with its performance thus far.

These things last for EVER
I purchased this as a replacement for a 20-yr old VillaWare pan (I can’t find that brand anymore) which is almost identical. This one is a little bit shallower, also the VillaWare one had a little silicone trim on the lid handle which was nice if the lid was hot, this one doesn’t have that (I swapped out lids and kept the old one, they are otherwise identical). But it seems like EXACTLY the same pan. We have a glass top stove and hate cooking on it, so we have been using the same old electric skillet probably 2-4 times a week for 15+ YEARS to cook fajitas, quesadillas, fish, scallops, smash burgers, chicken cutlets, sauté vegetables, stir fry, one-pot meals like stroganoff, dirty rice, etc. Boy do I wish I’d had one in my dorm room at college! The old one actually still works ok but the non-stick coating has not been in great shape for a couple years now (but still usable, unbelievably - we’ll be moving that one into the camper now). I am showing photos of both pans side by side so you can see the difference - yes the old one is in poor shape but still usable. When/if the non-stick coating does finally start to go, if things do stick (this would happen to us if searing or blackening at max temp), the best way to clean it is to “deglaze” it with water or a little vinegar or wine while it’s still hot, rather than trying to soak or scrub. Worst case scenario if it’s already cooled and there’s a little something sticking just leave it, and next time you use it, get it hot and put a little oil, then wipe or deglaze to get it clean before adding new food. So far with the new one I am just wiping it afterwards w paper towel, works fine. Definitely don’t want to use metal utensils in it for longest wear. I turned scallops the other night w metal tongs, I was being very careful but I do see a couple very very minor scratches where I must have just barely touched the pan. I’ll be very careful not to do that again. If taken care of properly these pans can last for 10+ yrs and worth every penny of the purchase price.

Slightly changed from of old.
This item is a replacement for a same-brand predecessor that served marvelously in daily use for many years before finally starting to lose its non-stick feature.The new item is somewhat lighter than the original, lacking a bit of a rim that the old one had without giving up any interior space. The non-stick coating looks different too, but so far functions perfectly. It remains to be seen whether it will be as durable than the old coating.Also I note that the heat control is differently calibrated, and needs to be set nearly 50 degrees higher to get the same cooking effect.All that said, the new device is working with complete satisfaction up to this point, so if it proves as durable as the old one did, I will owe it another rating star.

It's a great short-term skillet!
I loved this electric skillet so much when I first got it. It worked great and cooked evenly. Then, just weeks after the one year warranty, I noticed the non-stick coating had worn down and food was sticking. I contacted CucinaPro and they said to use a "greasing agent" when I use the pan and that the skillet was out of warranty. They did not offer an incentive to purchase another CucinaPro skillet - so basically they told me to suck it up.I continued using the pan (using lots of oil, butter, etc) and at the two year mark the controller/power cord went out. I contacted CucinaPro again and they sent me a link to order a new power cord, which I did. It arrived two weeks after I ordered it and guess what? It didn't fit my skillet. I reached out to CucinaPro again and they gave me the information to return the cord (at my expense) for a refund. You would think that since they told me to buy the wrong power cord that they would send me a label to return it - but no - that didn't happen. And here's the kicker - they don't carry a replacement power cord for my two year old electric skillet.Tonight we take our garbage can out to the curb and it will have a dead electric skillet inside.EDIT 08/08/2024: I could not find another electric skillet that I like better so I bought this skillet again on a Prime Day special. With the savings, I bought the warranty plan. I had to return/exchange the skillet because the power cord is so difficult to insert and remove from the pan. When I received the new pan - it's worse! Still has the power cord issue AND it doesn't sit flat on the counter (the warping gets worse as the pan heats up). Back it goes! I think after three of these failed skillets, I've learned my lesson.

Main pan for our meals
Even cooking, no hotspots.We started using an electric skillet when we lost our kitchen cooking capabilities to hurricane AN. We bought a very inexpensive one initially and enjoyed doing one pot dinners that we decided to look for something a little bit more substantial along with even cooking and temperature control. This product met our expectations and look forward to long use with it very well-made
