Much better than the Mira digital shower
Purchased this shower to replace a 4 year old Mira digital shower that had stopped working. Was going to just buy a replacement Mira but the price is insane so opted for this Triton dual feed unit. The contents of the box were in excellent condition and the instructions very easy assuming your a good DIY person that has done some plumbing in the past. Not disappointed at all....5 stars. The unit is so much quieter than the Mira even on full power.I had two mira digital showers (bathroom / ensuite) and both were never quiet so assumed this was the norm.I fitted the unit in the attic above the en-suite - I did mount the unit on a big board which was sat on foam before screwing to the roof joists. I also put some firm foam sheet under the unit before mounting on the board....over kill I think but belt and braces to reduce any chance of noise coming through the ceiling. This is a gravity fed system - so the cold storage tank in the attic is not that much higher than this unit (less than 50cm) - but it works great - so issue with either then hot or cold. The wireless connection between the main unit and control unit works fine - I was concerned that I may need to use the hard wire - but the distance is about 1.5m between the units and through the ceiling and attic insulation. The control unit itself is clear and easy to use.Anyway - only had this a week but at this stage (fingers crossed) would recommend.

Poor customer service
Bought to replace my previous Triton Satellite shower which stopped working after 8 years or so with the view of using the second outlet for a hand shower. As a shower it is now performing as required, the controller programming is flexible and I am happy with the unit. It loses points for the very poor support from Triton. The package purchased included the overhead outlet kit, which I did not need as I already had it installed, and a hand shower kit which needed to be fed through the wall. This proved impractical so I asked Triton to supply just a ceiling fed rail. I was told to look on their web site where I found that they only offered a complete kit at £100 odd including head, hose and bits I already had with purchased kit. Triton spares offered half the riser rail, about 1m of tube, for £55. Making up the kit I needed would be around £230. Eventually, by cannibalising a competitor's affordable product I made my own riser rail at a reasonable price, but Triton appear to be a traditional UK business uninterested in support once you have made your purchase.

Needed Triton engineer call out
Shower failed to work after fitting and resulted in a Triton engineer being called out delaying the completion of the project. The engineer found a faulty valve and replaced the unit. Works fine now but somewhat concerning long term.

No warranty
Nice shower, but after it was installed , it wouldn't turn off completey, and dripped constantly. This was delivered to me in Ireland, but as it was supplied from the UK, Triton Ireland wouldn't look at it. And Triton UK wouldn't cover it either, as I'm in Ireland, so essentially no warranty whatsoever.Saying that, Amazon were excellent, and replaced it, but I'm worried what will happen if something happens in a year or two.
