Highest cotton percentage (by far) that I could find, so it won't pill for a long time!
The color (blue) is vivid and lively, and the knit feels thick and soft. The fit is generous and the zipper is sturdy. The best part, though, is the cotton content! Remember those hoodies that you could pass from brother to brother as they grew, and it was still until led after 4 boys wore it? Well, this is going to wear nearly as well, and it's all about the cotton. Man-made yarns are cheaper (by price and quality) than yarns from natural products, like cotton, silk, ramie, and wool. I like all these but the wool, because wool causes a rash on me and other members of my family. You just can't go wrong buying natural fibers. I highly recommend this hoodie. It costs more than the "12 months to a pulled mess" hoodies, but it'll be cheaper in the long run!

Arrived dirty!
I was disappointed when I received this sweatshirt "hoodie" as it arrived with several dirty streaks on it. I thought about returning it, but decided to wash it to see if the stains would come out. I put a spray stain remover on the stains and since it is white, added bleach to the water. It did come clean and all of the stain was removed. There was no visible damage to the package it arrived in, so I can only assume it was dirty prior to being packaged for shipment. It is somewhat large - which I expected - but is a nice heavy weight, which is what I wanted. I did take photos of the various stains before laundering it which I would be happy to email to Amazon or the shipper if wanted.

Great value
. Hard to find that kind of seam work, especially on cuffs, hood and zipper,.in anything under 20 dollars. It's kind of light, of course, but fine to wear in the house or outdoors here in So. Cal. Fit is really nice, no problem if it should shrink a bit, but I don't use a dryer anyway. Will change my rating to 5 stars if it holds well after a few washings.

Why no lined hood?
It's a great hooded sweatshirt. My only complaint is that the hood isn't lined, and will probably be one reason it will be replaced. It requires a few washings to stop shedding but seems to be staying plush and resisting 'pilling'. Nice color, no fading and it's very snug. Good for around the house, but the lack of hood lining will probably keep it in the house.

My Search for the Perfect Hoodie is Over
My 20 year old, favorite front zip micro-fleece jacket finally bit the dust and my attempts at replacing it had been foiled. The newer offerings lacked the heft and durability of my old friend. This sweatshirt is super heavyweight with a 70/30 cotton blend and a real metal zipper. The fit was as expected and wonderful. Most impressively, it was extremely comfortable in mild temperatures. I will have no problems with over heating in the house on chilly days and expect that it will last a long time as an outdoor work companion. I am falling in love with this piece of clothing.

Definitely not heavyweight. Typical standard weight.
The problem with this is the description says heavy weight. It is not heavy weight at all it is fairly thin. I will keep it but I’m disappointed because I wanted something that was like a thick sweat jacket. This is nothing like a champion for instance.

It's not super warm. But it's super cheap
It's a cheap hoodie. It's not super warm. But it's super cheap. Great for around the house, or stepping outside in the chilly air for a few minutes. Don't expect it to keep you warm when the temperature gets near freezing or anything.

It does have a cool coin pocket within the right pocket
My only complaint is that it's a little thin. It does have a cool coin pocket within the right pocket. Fits my cell phone nicely too. Prevents droppage. Soft and comfortable, just a tad thin for the SF cold, foggy weather.
