I sleep on my back and place this pillow behind my knees. I wake up with less knee pain that I had before using it. Also, it reminds me not to sleep on my side, which causes a lot of pain. Pros: firm and supportive, but still comfortable. Cons: did shrink a bit even though I washed by hand in cold water and let it air dry. (It dried fast.) I could still get the pillow back into the cover. I think drying it with heat would be a mistake.

I bought this knee pillow, hoping I could get many different uses out of it. I've been suffering with different sorts of pains this year, specially lower back pain and I have been able to use it as my lower back support whenever I need to sit somewhere. It's the perfect size to take with me to any part of the house. It's also helped when I needed something well formed to elevate my feet/knees to help reduce swelling on my legs and ankles. It definitely beats using a pillow which I've been doing for a while.The pillow came in a cute box in a vacuum suctioned bag and it only took a few minutes for it to resume its original shape. It's well-made and I love the fact that you can take the cover off and wash it. I've searched for something like this in the stores and found them to be pretty expensive and not the greatest quality. I really think that this pillow is good quality and great for the price.

I've had to buy/try several of these recently. They are either too tall/short/narrow and many have been returned. I opened this one with hesitation because it's squished into a teeny-tiny box. NEVER FEAR! It fluffs up beautifully! It's about 6inches wider (longer?) than many others for the same price, so I don't feel like I need to constantly adjust it to make sure both legs are supported. The fabric is nice and stays cool (others claimed they did, but made me sweaty). Easy, quilted, zip off cover remains in place even though I change positions a million times per night. Definitely helping me sleep since my hips/knees/back are supported and I think I will likely stop moving all night!!!

Updating my previous review below. Let me just say that I am really impressed with this company's customer service. This deserves 5 stars! They reached out to me directly to offer a solution. It seems I ordered the wrong product for my needs. They make a firmier product that I am going to try.************************Was very excited to get this as a Christmas present for my hard to buy for husband who sufferes from mild to moderate back pain. He was very dissaointed and will be returning. The memory foam collapses and offers less support and lift than a regular bed pilow. This did not take the stress off his lower back.

I'm a side-sleeper and needed something to help stop me from having a sore back from twisting my spine. This pillow showed up in a deceptively small box and expanded to full size right away. The length of this pillow is perfect to fit on the lower half of my bed without being intrusive like a full-body pillow might. It has just the right give to be comfortable without being too soft as to be ineffective for the task.I've used this for a couple weeks now, and I notice the difference in my back. I've also noticed that my wife hasn't mentioned the pillow at all, so the unobtrusiveness of it is apparent.Would recommend again to any side-sleepers.

If I could give this pillow 10 stars I would! I am a runner and started having some knee issues that seemed to be worse when in bed and would wake me up at night. I decided to try this pillow and felt IMMEDIATE relief! It's soft between my knees yet just firm enough to give the support I need. I also put it under my knees when on my back. It's a game changer! My husband tries to steel it all the time so I just ordered him one for V-Day. It also has a removable zipper 'pillow case' but I haven't tried to take it off, wash, and get it back on yet. Will update when I do!

Update: have now had this pillow for a few days and the odor has almost gone away completely..Just received this today therefore I can’t speak on the comfort, etc. I have to say that the smell is quite strong. I’m hoping if I remove the cover and wash it will dilute the smell. Hopefully by removing the plastic and letting it air out it will subside.

Have only slept once using this bolster so I can't give a really definite answer. However, my physical therapist recommended I transition from side sleeping to my back because of a neck/cervical issue. Having had lower back surgery, I can't rest without something under my knees to relieve pressure on my lower back. I am small of stature and this particular item is a perfect thickness and is long enough that both legs are comfortable with extra room on either side. Glad I chose this one. It is well made.

It works . It is low be sure to understand the measuring size and how tall it is . I thought it was small but it does raise the back legs up .
