MONTALE Aouds Discovery Eau De Parfum Spray Set

I ordered this for my husband as a b-day present since he wanted to try the Montale fragrances before purchasing a large bottle, they're all really nice! a couple of these were too sweet for him but perfect for me!

Having tried a Montale Oud fragrance previously, I had high expectations. But, the first one that I test-sprayed Oudmazing was so aggressively alcohol based that I had to immediately bathe to get the scent off of me, and I could still smell it afterwards. It is a disgusting, repulsive scent that seems impossible to banish. It is so disgusting, it is giving me a headache. It smells like an old rancid bottle of Shalimar. So gross.

I love this introduction to the DNA of this brand bc I am so impressed with Montale! And Mancera for that matter! None of these fragrances were for me BUT, the silliage and projection and overall performance is amazing. So now I am going to find the ONE within Pierre Montales Magic abilitites bc I know without a doubt my new signature scent will be one of his.

It is good to pick this up before buying their perfume. Personally I am new to this brand, but I think oudmazing is the most enjoyable scent by many people, but it is still a strong scent. Black Aoud is a bit strong for an Americans preference.

Good buy if you're not familiar with the scent

Great scents all around. Long lasting with heavy notes. My favorite is the Dark Aoud.
