Oh, yeah, these are the good ones!
Having read many, many reviews of various headphones, these have none of the problems cited in reviews of most other competing products. My only minor issue is the curly cords. They are of good quality, though--both of them.

good for the money, but will not replace Sony MDR-7506 studio headphones
These appear to be very similar in design and style to Sony MDR-7506 studio headphones, which I am very familiar with from decades of owning and listening to several pairs. I'm always on the lookout for a lower cost alternative to the Sony MDR-7506, and these seem promising. After a direct comparison, these are pretty good but have noticeably less bass than the Sony MDR-7506 headphones. They also have an exaggerated, sizzling upper end that is too bright and forward for my taste. For the money these are not too bad, but are not anywhere near as good or as accurate sounding as the Sony MDR-7506 headphones.

Great Sound

Good Audio
The audio is good but the ear cuffs feel very small on me. Dispite the fact that they are smaller, they are still hotter then I'm used to as well, I can't use this for very long before my ears become hot and start hurting. I still gave them 3 stars because I run hot in general and they are a good price for the sound quality they provide. If you have a smaller head and run cooler then me you might like these more! They are also super easy to use, plug in and go basically. The cord also did what I was unsure of, it was able to reach me all the way in my recliner, away from the PC it was plugged into, AND I could still recline! Their lightweight design made it easy to keep them on my head while still sitting far from my pc.
